Example of electronic components

An electronic component is a small device that is capable of the way the electrons that pass through it flow or behave. For this, the components are usually made of metals, ceramics and other materials (such as plastic and semiconductors) that have two or more metal pins, edges or ends that are with which they connect to a motherboard or other electronic components.

Electronic components can be classified according to their characteristics in: Discrete where an element is composed of one within said element such as resistors, integrated ones which are sets of more than one element of the same type, for example processors and microchips Semiconductors are those that can transmit electricity by first passing an electric current through them. Active: they are those that manipulate the electrons, passive ones, those that only serve as bridges or cumin for the electrons without modifying them. Electromagnetic: those that make use of the different magnetic fields for their use or operation.

Finally we have the electroacoustic ones which modify the passage of electrons based on the audio detected in the environment but can also generate sounds by themselves and the optoelectronics, which transform electrical energy into light and vice versa.
